slow glow: rituals to soften into late summer
herbs have been used for centuries to hydrate, balance, and restore the body—especially in transitional seasons. august is the soft space between sun and soil, and your body is craving just that: softness.
our theme this month, sundrenched to harvest, is a gentle invitation to slow down, glow from within, and replenish deeply. here are a few herbal rituals to help you do just that.
morning glow rituals
sip strawberry leaf: a gentle tea that supports digestion, hormone balance, and skin clarity
hydrate your skin: apply body oil after your morning shower while skin is still damp.
daily mineral tea: blend strawberry leaf, raspberry leaf, and hibiscus for daily nourishment
midday calm + clarity
iced peachy calm tea: rooibos, ginger, and dried peaches to refresh and soothe
cool mist reset: spritz our botanical mist or line dried linens room spray for an energy-clearing midday break
soothe skin and spirit: roll on a calming oil or inhale dried lavender for a sensory pause
evening rituals to wind down
slow soak ritual
¼ cup pink himalayan salt
1 tbsp lavender
1 tbsp calendula
a few drops eucalyptus or peppermint essential oil
add to warm bath water and soak for 20–30 minutes. breathe deeply. feel your body soften

journal to reconnect: what part of me needs more care right now?
