10 min | serves 1 | caffeine-free | hot or iced

this soft floral cup blends red clover and golden calendula with a cooling touch of spearmint. pair it with a few minutes of gentle self-massage and deep breathing for a simple ritual that leaves you feeling refreshed and renewed.

ingredients

1 tsp dried red clover
1 tsp dried calendula
1 tsp dried spearmint
8 oz hot water

optional add-ins:
a drizzle of raw honey
a squeeze of fresh lemon
a fresh mint sprig

you'll also need: a tea infuser or reusable tea bag

instructions

1. add all herbs to a tea infuser or place directly into your mug.
2. pour 8 oz of hot water, just off the boil, over the herbs.
3. cover and steep for 8 to 10 minutes.
4. strain, add any optional add-ins, and sip slowly.

the ritual

while it steeps: using light, gentle strokes, massage under your jawline and along your collarbone, moving outward and down.

breathe: take three grounding breaths. inhale deeply, exhale fully, and let your shoulders drop.

sip with intention: enjoy your cup slowly, without your phone, as a quiet moment just for you.

herbalist tips

cover while steeping: a lid or saucer holds in the spearmint's cooling aroma.

make it iced: double the herbs, steep, cool, and pour over ice with a lemon slice.

morning or evening: this caffeine-free cup fits any time of day, so pair the ritual with your skincare routine.

good to know

if you are pregnant, nursing, taking blood thinners or hormone medication, or have a hormone-sensitive condition, check with your healthcare provider before using red clover. if you're sensitive to ragweed, daisies, or marigolds, use caution with calendula. honey should not be given to children under 1 year old.
