cranberry berry tea spritzer

a sparkling sip for the season.

10 min + chill | serves 2 | caffeine-free | iced

this festive mocktail brews our passion berry tea strong, then tops it with sparkling water, a splash of cranberry, and a sprig of rosemary for a bright, bubbly holiday sip. it's pretty enough for a party and easy enough for a quiet night in.

ingredients

2 tbsp passion berry tea
1 cup hot water
1 to 2 tsp raw honey
¼ cup cranberry juice
1 cup chilled sparkling water
ice

optional add-ins:
a squeeze of fresh orange or lime
fresh cranberries, rosemary sprigs, or orange slices for garnish
swap in our blushing berry blend for a softer, floral version

you'll also need: a tea infuser or reusable tea bag and two glasses

instructions

1. pour 1 cup of just-boiled water over the tea. cover and steep for 7 minutes, then strain.
2. stir in the honey while warm, add the cranberry juice, and chill until cold.
3. fill two glasses with ice and divide the tea between them.
4. top each with sparkling water, garnish with cranberries and rosemary, and serve.

herbalist tips

brew it strong: the double-strength tea holds its flavor once the bubbles and ice go in.

pour bubbles last: add the sparkling water right before serving so it stays fizzy.

party pitcher: multiply the recipe by four, mix the chilled tea in a pitcher, and let guests top their own glasses with sparkling water.

sugared rim: dip each glass rim in honey, then in sugar, for a frosty holiday look.
